The Global Engagement Co-Learning Lab is a partnership developed by the ISSS, the Gonzaga Honors program and the English Language Learning Center. 80 international students & 95 honors students are placed in working groups and tasked with completing 20 hours together focused on learning about one another and about various areas of the Spokane community including on campus, off campus, and community service focused hours (226 total hours).  

• Helped international students & honors students acclimate to life at GU & the city of Spokane.   
• Empowered students to get involved with on-campus organizations and lead in student organizations.
• Opportunity to learn and manage conflict amongst cultural difference.  
• Validated global languages and language acquisition   
• Supported new students' development of intercultural competence and career preparedness
